Terms of use

Alerte Echipă

By installing and using the Alerte Echipă app you accept the terms below. They are written short and plainly, so you know exactly what the app does, what is expected of you, and what you cannot rely on.

01 What the service is

Alerte Echipă lets members of a work team call one another through a loud notification — sound and vibration — displayed across the whole screen of the phone. The service consists of the mobile app and the infrastructure that delivers the alerts.

It is not an emergency service. Alerte Echipă does not replace 112, emergency dispatch, fire alarm systems or any other mandatory safety procedure. Do not use it as the only means of raising the alarm in a situation that endangers life, health or property.

02 Your account

  • The account is created with your phone number, confirmed by a code received via SMS. Guard access to your number and your phone — whoever has them has the account.
  • The app is meant for work teams. You may not use it if you are under 16.
  • What you put in your profile (name, job title, photo) is visible to co-workers in your teams. Use real information: they need to know who called them.
  • An account is personal. Do not share it with anyone and do not use it on behalf of another person.

03 Roles and teams

A team coordinator creates the team, invites members with a code and can remove them. Members can call one another within the team and can leave the team at any time, from the app.

If you are a coordinator, you are responsible for who joins your team. Invite only people who actually work with you and who know they will receive alerts.

04 Acceptable use

You may not:

  • send repeated test alerts, pranks or alerts without a real reason — an alert sounds even when the phone is silenced, so it disturbs someone every single time;
  • harass, intimidate or frighten anyone through alerts;
  • add to a team people who have not agreed to receive alerts from you;
  • attempt to access accounts, teams or data that are not yours, circumvent the app's limitations, reverse engineer it, or overload it with automated traffic;
  • use the service for unlawful purposes or contrary to the safety procedures of your workplace.

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks the rules above — usually after a warning, and immediately where the abuse is clear.

05 Technical limits of the service

Delivering an alert depends on things we do not control: the recipient's internet connection, the Apple and Google notification services, the phone's battery and notification settings, and the permissions granted to the app.

  • We do not guarantee that every alert arrives, that it arrives instantly, or that it makes a sound. If a co-worker refused the notification permission or has their phone switched off, you cannot call them.
  • The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or because of faults at the providers we depend on.
  • Check periodically that alerts work on your phone. The app has a demo button that shows how a received alert looks and sounds.

06 Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from alerts that were not delivered, were delivered late or were delivered incorrectly, or from the unavailability of the service — including indirect losses, loss of production or reputational harm.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

07 Intellectual property

The app, its name, its logo and its content belong to FastForward. You receive a personal, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app for the purpose it was built for. The content you add — name, job title, photo — remains yours; you only grant us the right to display it to co-workers in your teams, so that the service can function.

08 Your data

What data we collect and why is explained in the privacy policy. Your account and the data tied to it can be erased at any time — see account deletion.

09 Termination and changes

You can walk away at any time: leave your teams, request deletion of your account and uninstall the app. We may stop providing the service or amend these terms; for important changes we announce it in the app and update the date at the top of this document. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
